Twitter post update
Just in case you want to know more about using Twitter in business.
Following my previous post I was told about the Twitter Handbook, which is about to be published but can currently be freely downloaded. I got my copy and I’m browsing through at the moment.
It’s got some interesting insights for business use and, if you’ve downloaded the guide mentioned in my earlier post, you’ll probably find this useful too. Check if it is still available at http://twitterhandbook.com - If you want it I suggest you get it as soon as possible.

P.S. Thanks for the tip Nigel

OK, I’ve asked for the free handbook - I might be tempted again - if I find time

Call me a ‘AWeber’ nerd - or focused on the most ethical ways to email marketing.
I teach all my AWeber ’students’ to always make sure all campaigns have the Confirm opt-in activated, if only to safeguard yourself from spam-accusations.
The free Twitterbook landed straight in my inbox, no confirmation request first, IMHO not very professional.
But then again, that’s me - the AWeber nerd

Carol,
If you are on twitter and would like to have people follow you, please let us know. Twitter can seem a bit confusing at first so I’m sure the handbook will help newbies. It is not hard to figure out who is worth following on twitter if you are clear on what you want to get out of it. I have a translations company and we have “met” new translators and gotten some new business through twitter. I can be followed @JLibbey.

You’re right - as with any marketing activity you need to be clear on what you want to get out of it.
I have a Twitter follow link in the right panel of this blog for anyone who wants to connect.
